Emergencies and Out of Hours

	When the surgery is closed telephone 0845 345 8995. Your call will go direct to the Out of Hours Emergency service which will put you in contact with the duty doctor. The duty doctor will be able to give you advice, arrange an appointment at Banbury Hospital or a home visit if required.
	We hold an emergency Saturday morning surgery 9.00-10.00. This is an open surgery and patients needing to be seen urgently on Saturday morning should arrive at the surgery between 9.00 - 10.00am. Patients are also able to pick up medication which has been ordered before midday on Friday.
	Always telephone 0845 345 8995 (direct line). When the surgery is closed your call will go through to the Out-of-Hours service. Your details will be taken and the duty doctor will call you back.
	The Primary Care Trust The Primary Care Trust (PCT) is responsible for providing the Out-of-Hours deputising service between 6.30pm to 8.00am Monday to Friday and from 6.30pm Friday to 8.00am Monday.

Notices will be posted in the surgery waiting room if there are any changes to the current emergency and Out-of-Hours service.

Injuries Unit

There is a MIU at Witney Community Hospital which has a walk-in X-ray unit. Telephone 01993 209400 or 01993 209459 for the X-ray unit for opening hours.
