FLU Immunisation Campaign 2018-19
If you know that you are eligible for flu immunisation please contact the surgery now to book your immunisation appointment. Eligible patients include those who are 65 years old before 31st March 2019 and those who are already 65 years old or over, those who have chronic diseases such as diabetes, COPD and asthma, those who are immunosuppressed, and those who have informed the practice that they are Carers [this does not include Carers who work in residential or nursing homes]. If you are not sure of your eligibility please contact the Surgery and advice will be given. Children who were born between 1st September 2014 and 31st August 2016 are also eligible for immunisation [Please note older children will be immunised at their school and the practice is unable to vaccinate this age group unless they have a chronic disease such as Asthma or Diabetes, in which case they are eligible for immunisation at the practice].
STOP PRESS - we are fully booked for our clinics for 65 & over vaccine until 19th November and are not immunising Walk-ins before 19th November. Please contact reception to either book into a flu clinic.
